Bootup Africa Partnership

USD 1 Billion

CBK Holding signed a landmark project finance agreement with Bootup Africa as a strategic investor in the gold processing division. Funds are exclusively earmarked for the deployment of 100 modular gold processing plants across the country.

  • 36 trucks currently en route carrying equipment for the first 6 processing plants
  • Each plant uses a 6-truck configuration
  • 7+ trucks already staged at the CBK Holding Farm, awaiting the remaining convoy
  • Dedicated on-site engineering team handling end-to-end plant assembly at Chongwe and other deployment locations

A preliminary commitment has been secured from a second investor for a minimum of USD 2.5 billion in the current fiscal year — allocated to rapid development of five priority mineral ores and government SME support via SMED/ZICB.

Market Strategy

CBK Holding will retain 10% of output for the local market while exporting 90% to international buyers and overseas partners — positioning the company as a key driver of both domestic mineral value addition and foreign exchange generation for Zambia.

Independent consultants have been retained to provide specialized guidance in graphite flotation circuit design, copper cathode leaching and electrowinning, iron ore beneficiation and agglomeration, manganese dense media separation optimization, and regulatory and environmental permitting for all five mineral products.
